Today Mama turns 60 and as I was doing her makeup in the same way I do my own, she looked up at me and said, “My goal is to turn 90 so when you’re 60 you we can do this again.” 🩷 I love the second image of her a lot. It’s the only one in history where there isn’t a smile smacked across her face, and it reminds me of a Nan Goldin portrait in the warmest way.
