When this client first came to see me she’d had her cheeks and lips treated (pretty standard). I advised against more cheeks (especially lateral) and recommended dissolving upper lip. Once we established her treatment plan, I worked on creating softer transitions on entire face (for example temples➡️upper cheeks⏩⏩all the way down to chin) and contouring the lower face region for a slightly more feminine look. This treatment plan took 2 visits. She looks stunning and just like herself, which is always my goal. Over the years I’ve worked really hard to step away from techniques and treatment plans that create a very mainstream look on everyone. Instead, I assess and individualize for each face. It’s like connecting the dots. You have to be able to see what will work best on the face sitting in front of you. Not the standard markings we’ve all been taught at a course to do. You have to be able to take those basic learning tools and individualize. Even the people teaching will tell you that. They are simply a guideline. Your basic injector will market those “catchy” lifts and treatment plans to everyone the same way and you have to think is that really how you want your face treated?
