You can witness a good ugly cry in my stories right now as I was reflecting over this video that I took a year ago. I could never have imagined I’d be where I’m at today a year ago. So much has changed and I truly have not had time to reflect on this huge decision and journey that I made to take back control of my health. I look at this video and I’m so proud of how many events I attended and always carried myself the best I possibly could even though I was feeling terrible inside because of my body. For me, it doesn’t hit me until I see old videos or pictures of myself. I couldn’t be happier and whether you are pre-op or just considering WLS, I will tell you it was worth it. 10 months later, I finally understand what I just went through was a whole lot, but it was worth it in a life-changing way.
