Congrats to @stephencurry30 for another championship! For those of you living under a rock @JordanPeele has a huge summer event movie coming out titled “Nope” July 22. I'm a huge fan of his, and one of the coolest parts of this project was to watch the movie and meet Jordan. The purpose of the screening was for the director of the spot @kwakualston and I to get a sense of the film and its visual language. The idea was to put Steph Curry in the world of film. The film was shot largely on IMAX and 65mm by none other than Hoyte Van Hoytema (also a huge fan of his). Suffice to say I felt honored to be around such legendary company. As is often the case with shoots such as these Steph had a crazy schedule and would only be on set for just 1hr. I don’t know if I’ve experienced a faster hour of time in my life! Steph was a true gentleman and humored us by missing a shot or two and everything went to plan. In the end it takes a massive team working in unision, so I’m going to dedicate my next post to saying so many thanks.
