Y’all — We’re so overjoyed to finally announce that we’re publishing our first book! Think “The Black Book” meets “Antiques Roadshow” meets your mama’s basement and grandma’s Danish “cookie” tin. Y’all already know the vibes. After two years during the pandemic working on a book proposal that spoke to our work within the greater context of Black folks’ collecting/archiving traditions, we’re thrilled to be partnering with the team over at Black Dog & Levathal of Hachette Book Group to bring this work to life. Tremendous thank you to our Literary Agent, Monica Odom (of Odom Media Management) for helping us to channel ALLLL of our wild ideas. Endless love to our village of family, friends and industry peers for nurturing this vision of ours since we founded this business in 2014.
