Have you ever wondered about the story behind Freeland’s teardrop bottle? 💧When our founder, Jill, went out to design a bottle, she wanted to pick one that would tell our story. ⁠ ⁠ The first bottle design was the blue Freeland Gin bottle, our flagship spirit. On the surface, it represents Freeland’s home in the Pacific Northwest - where raindrops are quite familiar. All that Oregon rain is also the backbone of local agriculture, which is at the heart of Freeland’s ‘grain to glass’ ethos. 🌾 In fact, it was Jill’s connection to local agriculture through her time in the nonprofit world that inspired Freeland to come to life in the first place. This is why our logo features the ‘lady of the grain’ front and center on every bottle. The Freeland bottle tells our story on every shelf, where the pieces of our identity come together to make every glass great. And... we’ve got exciting things coming to new bottles this year, that bring the story full circle.
