I’m so proud of these people and proud to be apart of this group. The last several weeks have just been a blast on stage playing night after night of killer shows. They’re not all perfect shows, but it feels like we’re actually making music together every night and that is incredibly refreshing. We come off the stage laughing and immediately looking forward to the next show. Last night, we threw two songs in the set that we just put together as a band in soundcheck a few hours before we hit the stage. That feeling is why I ever wanted to play music professionally. And I hope our candid joy and somewhat surprise that we pulled it off as well as we did came across the stage. Following a dream is not easy. And it doesn’t get easier even once you realize a dream. In fact, it may be harder to figure out where to go from there and how to maintain it. It’s a bit like love in that it’s a choice you make each day to want this and want to put in the work to have it. A lot of days are hard, but the last few months with these folks; it’s a no brainer that this is where I should be. Also, shoutout to @dayna.anne for patiently taking these photos even though I didn’t have my camera set up well for her and made it take forever 😬♥️
