She is sacred, fragile, loved, a giver of life and a source for serene escapism and spirituality. We need to adapt to a new era of restoring our damaged planet and step up our endless fight to protect Her for future generations. ⁠ ⁠ From improving our printing processes, choosing sustainable fabrics, redesigning our packaging, investing in biodegradable options, and reducing consumption across our business, 2022 saw us interrogate the myriad opportunities to prove and improve our commitment to sustainability. ⁠ ⁠ CAMILLA swimwear is lovingly crafted using Econyl®, a sustainable premium Italian textile, recycled from regenerated materials salvaged from our oceans. Our mens boardshort are created from post-consumer waste, predominantly PET bottles, a textile approved by the Global Recycled Standard.⁠ ⁠ With circularity intended, our store bags, tissue paper, online shipping boxes and premium boxes are all recyclable and developed with APCO’s Sustainable Packaging Guidelines. We’ve recreated swing tags, woven labels, satin tape and swing tag cords from 70-100% recycled materials, FSC®-certified.⁠ ⁠ We use POLLAST!C Mailers made by The Better Packaging Co. to send our swim and activewear treasures to you, crafted from 100% otherwise ocean-bound plastic.⁠ ⁠ Hand-drawn, designed and painted by in-house artists, our unique prints are digitally printed, resulting not only in the exceptional detail, colour and brilliance our wearable artworks are famous for, but also reducing water consumption by upto 90% vs traditional printing methods, and reducing electricity consumption drastically.
