One of my favourite things we grew all year - Palla Rossa Radicchio. As the nights darken and the temperature drops getting colour into your dishes becomes increasingly tricky. In amongst all the deep braises and hearty dishes I find I crave freshness daily. Radicchios and other winter leaves are what we turn to, the colours a welcome addition to any winter meal. They can be eaten raw, grilled or cooked down and stand up to a strong dressing going particularly well with winter citrus that comes into season as winter develops.
