One of my favourite things we grew all year - Palla Rossa Radicchio. As the nights darken and the temperature drops getting colour into your dishes becomes increasingly tricky. In amongst all the deep braises and hearty dishes I find I crave freshness daily. Radicchios and other winter leaves are what we turn to, the colours a welcome addition to any winter meal. They can be eaten raw, grilled or cooked down and stand up to a strong dressing going particularly well with winter citrus that comes into season as winter develops. These leaves will be around throughout winter, use them wisely and frequently. Grown without chemicals down by the river @oakleycourt. #slowfood #radicchio #growyourown
