Clovelly boasts ocean views, cobbled lanes and centuries-old cottages – with no chain stores, no traffic noises and no light pollution to be found.⁣ ⁣ It's a village with an extensive past – in the 11th Century, Clovelly was owned by William the Conqueror himself.
