When something isn’t being represented the way YOU think it should... Maybe it’s a sign YOU are supposed to be the representation 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s not that there weren’t EPIC podcast before I started empowerherHER podcast, there DEFINITELY were. But I felt like most of the hosts of shows I found in the personal growth space were so many steps ahead of me that they were giving advice in hindsight. Like, “back when I was at your stage this is how I handled it”. Which is SUPER helpful, don’t get me wrong, it’s important to see people ahead of you to borrow belief of what’s possible... BUT I really wanted a podcast that felt like it was a girlfriend transparently sharing what she was going through in REAL TIME, like we were chatting... Maybe over spicy 🌶 margs 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ & maybe when even she was in a “WTF am I doing with my life season” , and perhaps a sneeze away from an ugly cry 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ So I CREATED it 🙏🏻 & from knowing the positioning of who I most wanted to serve, and showing up consistently twice a week for the last almost 4 years.... A podcast that now gets over 300,000 downloads a month 🤯 with an incredible community of women who feel like my girlfriends.... was built 🙏🏻 I’m sharing this in hopes to remind you that you don’t need to be an “expert” in anything to start sharing your heart & story.
