It is the biggest @talkart privilege to sit down with @jimboalley and discuss art, life, sex and the American dream - Jimmy Wright’s 1970’s drawings of a post Stonewall/pre-AIDS queer NYC utopia are a time capsule and searingly beautiful and important recordings of our existence. With an almost cult like following, Jimmy has produced hundreds of drawings and for the last twenty years since the painful passing of his late partner Ken to AIDS, has devoted himself solely to the study of the sunflower.
