It’s that time again! This week is the start of #nyfw and I’m actually hyped to go this year. I can’t believe that I’ve been attending since 2009. That’s when people REALLY HATED seeing bloggers (this is before we were called influencers) at the shows. Fashion week was always for the magazine editors, buyers, and fashion insiders. So, seeing regular folks attend had people in their feelings. Don’t even get me started on how it was being plus size going to fashion week back in 2009. I’m an OG now but back then I was one of very few plus size bloggers who went to the shows. I have stories. I’ll share one of these days. Now, it’s so good to see so many plus size influencers attend the shows. It’s amazing to see plus size and midi size models in the shows. Back then you may have seen one or two. The one thing that could be better is the photographers who continuously ignore all the uber stylish plus size people that show up and show out at Fashion week. Nonetheless, I’m excited to attend another year and can’t wait to share all the content with y’all.
