The preliminary rounds of the 2025 IWWF World Disabled Waterski Championships have wrapped up, and what an exciting start!
Over two days of athletes hitting the water in slalom, tricks, and jump, delivering outstanding performances and an impressive seven pending world records in slalom and tricks.
Pending World Records – Slalom
• Eira Dalzell (AUS) – A2 W Slalom: 4.00 buoys / 55 kph / 18.25 m
• Jayden Jobe (AUS) – A/L1 M Slalom: 4.50 buoys / 49 kph / 18.25 m
• Samantha-Jane Longmore (AUS) – MP1 W Slalom: 2.00 buoys / 49 kph / 18.25 m (inner course)
Pending World Records – Tricks
• Richard West (AUS) – A/L1 M Tricks: 200 points
• Abigayle Dunn (USA) – MP3 W Tricks: 1,560 points
• Noah Smith (USA) – MP1 M Tricks: 920 points
• Jason Sleep (AUS) – MP4 M Tricks: 1,600 points
The Championships continue at Max Kirwan Ski Park in Mulwala this weekend with the finals of all disciplines.
