BaBEC would like to send the amazing @theesuburbia best wishes today at the 56th Annual Miss Fire Island Pageant! As the host of both of our Mx. Juneteenth Fire Island Pageant's (2021 & 2022), Suburbia has helped us push for reformation of island dynamics, esp when it comes to drag, gender and personal expression. We need more Black winners on the island and we need more than cisgender men to be eligible to compete! Suburbia is the future of Fire Island and that is a trait that we think is necessary to hold the crown. BaBEC whole-heartedly endorses Thee Suburbia as the next winner of Ms. Fire Island 2022.
