TIPS FOR STAYING AT GIRAFFE MANOR ⬇️ [📌 SAVE + SHARE FOR YOUR STAY AT GIRAFFE MANOR] 1️⃣: Giraffe Manor is booked out for at least TWO years in advance. While it’s important to try to plan ahead, I inquired in April for a May reservation. Ask to be added to the waitlist for your selected dates & be ready to book as soon as they send you a confirmation a spot opens up. I received a confirmation a day later! 2️⃣: Giraffe Manor is considered a boutique hotel and has 6 rooms in the main manor and another 6 in the garden manor. Since it’s such a small yet close knit hotel, there will be 10+ other guests competing for the same photos during that time. You’ll need to plan ahead and prioritize your shots, especially if you intend to do an outfit change. 3️⃣: The giraffes don’t spend all day at the manor which means you’ll need to utilize the time you do have (coupled with tip # 2). The giraffes normally stay at GM from 530 AM to 830/9 AM and 5 PM to 8 PM. From 9 AM to 5 PM, the giraffes head over to the giraffe center. 4️⃣: Some of those viral pictures you see on social media are no longer allowed. For example, the hotel no longer offers robes, so if you thought you were going to get that iconic robe shot feeding the giraffes, issa no sis (unless you bring your own robe or buy one from the gift shop for $100 🤫) But you didn’t hear that from me 😂 Rumor has it they may have stopped selling the robes at the gift shop so it may be safer to bring your own and take pictures on your balcony as they do not allow robe pictures to be taken in the main dining or outside area. Or feel free to be creative & come up with alternative outfit ideas! 5️⃣: Bae took most of my pics/videos while at GM. However, the staff were extremely helpful in taking pics and helping to execute my vision. (You will have to guide them if your particular about your photos.)
