A few weeks ago I was commissioned by @nycgo to photograph the King Pleasure exhibition by Jean Michel Basquiat and curated by his sisters, Lisane Basquiat and Jeanine Heriveaux, whom I also had the pleasure of photographing in Washington Square Park. It was wonderful to meet the women behind this amazingly executed and organized exhibition. And also to spend a little time with the family of the legendary Jean Michel Basquiat.
