Prepping for my powerlifting meets is pretty exciting and fun. I'm still moving with hubby, and small changes are happening. My appetite shifted a bit. There's not enough chicken, fish, eggs, and protein in the world out here some days. I can feel and see some physical changes in my my muscle composition. More than anything, I love that I have my hubby near me. I've used this downtime to spend more time with friends and family. Marathon training can pull me away from those who I love outside of the sport for a bit. I'm enjoying the base miles and heavy lifting period until mid-June.
