Sometimes wanting the ‘best for myself’ is unfathomable because its hard to believe that its possible for me. I had a really rough day yesterday. I sometimes feel trapped in my mind and my expectations for what I want life to be for myself and not being able to see past the moment. While I want the best for myself, curating that is a difficult task and nobody tells you that growing up. Sure, they say being an adult is hard but they should’ve given us a PowerPoint presentation on how hard because why did we all want to grow up so fast? Sometimes, wanting the best for yourself is wanting peace even if you can only find it temporarily. My peace is Sims 4 (all the mods and custom content of course), my dog, reruns of old shows I’ve seen 6 times already, and of course, and most importantly, prayer.
