‎صوت الارض THE EARTH’S VOICE Talal Maddah طلال مداح (1940-2000) was one of the most talented and prolific Saudi singer. He was one of the first Gulf artist to collaborate with major music Arab names as Mohamed Abdelwahab and Baligh Hamdi. He toured in several countries of the Gulf, Egypt, Algeria and Tunisia. His hit “Maqadeer” became a classic notably performed by the Algerian singer Warda and later by Tunisian Dhekra. Despite strong limitations on music at that time in Saudi Arabia, Talal Maddah was always insistant to perform when possible. He died on stage in Abha in 2000.
