Be proud of who you are and not ashamed of how someone else sees you. ⁣ ⁣ One of those is within our control, and the other is completely outside of our control. ⁣ ⁣ It’s empowering to take that power back and decide how we are going to speak to ourselves about aging, our bodies, our hair, whatever it is. ⁣ ⁣ Once we have a clear picture of what WE think about ourselves and our WHY for our choices, we can put into proper perspective the opinions of others. Opinions are so subjective and based on a myriad of upbringings, beliefs and perspectives. ⁣ ⁣ The compliments from some are so nice, but you realize you don’t depend on accolades from anyone to feel good about yourself. ⁣ ⁣ The criticisms from others who feel the need to try to tear you down don’t hold weight because you realize they have absolutely nothing to do with you.⁣ ⁣ This feels like freedom! Be unapologetically you, my sweet friends. 💗
