The Serengeti is DIFFERENT. We were told it’s rare to see a kill play out in front of your eyes from start to finish. In the wild so many different scenarios can play out in the course of a few minutes that can compromise either side. A lone and wounded Wildebeest was caught in the open unknowingly moving slowly towards a pride of 10 Lions. Down wind one of the Lioness sniffed this out and caught a glimpse of the situation unfolding in the prides favor. By the time the hunted recognized the situation it was in...the gap between the 2 sides had drastically closed. The Aftermath? Well...here you have it. It’s an ugly and yet beautiful game out there.
