Backyard Transformation coming in hot! I did indeed skip to the good part for you. I assure you there was a lot of blood, sweat & tears put into this project. We also couldn’t have done it without the help of a great friend. This project was done in stages. 2020: We built the DIY fire pit 2021: We added a few trees around the Fire-pit 2022: We addressed drainage issues with trees, built the retaining wall to elevate them, planted 15 more trees/replaced the dying trees (under warranty), added a hot tub, made a pathway, oh, and we rebuilt our deck! (Still finishing that one up!) We have learned so much through this project over the last couple years. But most of all, we are SO excited to really enjoy this outdoor space this Fall. Fire pits, s’mores & lots of memories to be made out here.
