One of Tokyo’s oldest jazz kissas 🎶💿🍶 Opened in 1960, still glowing with pure Showa-era charm. The current owner, once a regular, took over after the previous owner passed away. He’s warm, soft-spoken and has an incredible taste in music. I loved every song he played! John Coltrane and Pharoah Sanders visited during their one and only Japan tour in 1966, and the owner still treasures that piece of history. He’s also kept decades of guest notebooks, and I even found one from 1979. Regulars drop by after work or before their night shifts to listen to a few songs.
