“I wished I got into golf when I was younger” has been a common statement I hear when out on the course. I can see how the common perception is that one would be better skilled at the sport if they started younger. I’m glad I started at a later age because this game (like most) is more mental than physical. Keeping your emotions in check, your body under control and the discipline to not compound “bad” shots. This has allowed me to approach the game more strategic than relying strictly on a talent.
