An initiative for Europe, the Institute for European Policy-Making @ Bocconi University, was presented yesterday during the event "Bocconi, Italy, Europe" as a tribute to Mario Monti’s distinguished service at Bocconi and to his lifetime commitment to European integration as an economist and opinion leader. The event celebrated the 120th anniversary of the University and his figure. Attended by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, with speeches by Giuliano Amato, former President of the Constitutional Court of Italy, journalist Ferruccio de Bortoli, Jean-Claude Trichet, former President of the ECB, Rector Francesco Billari, President Andrea Sironi and Vice President Guido Tabellini. 💙 Many thanks to all the guests, students and Bocconi community that attended yesterday with such a warm welcome! #bocconi #bocconiuniversity #milano
