'Today Yegorka releases Atarashi Karada by Dove, aka Renge Hamasaki. The eponymous first track of this vocal record, a wistful and uplifting ballad, throws a listener into Dove’s wafting world. It is soon followed by grittier tracks in which her voice rises and drops, clear and beckoning while set against a machine’s lilt, distorted textures and ominous soundscapes. Figues features the voice of Loota, with whom Dove weaves a dizzying, severe closing track. Woven and transported by Dove’s voice, Atarashi Karada is a record which reveals itself gracefully by its many contrasts and emotional oscillations.'
