Fried fish and @ca_avocados sandwich 🐟🥑🥪 INGREDIENTS Fried Fish * 1lb boneless fish fillet * 1/2 cup all-purpose flour * 1/2 tsp garlic powder * 1/2 tsp salt and pepper * 1/2 cup cornmeal * 1 egg * Canola oil Tartar * 1 ripe California avocado * 2 tbsp mayo * 2 tbsp capers * 2 tbsp minced parsley * 1 pickle chopped * 2 tsp dijon mustard Slaw  * 1 head purple cabbage shredded * 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar * 1/4 cup olive oil * 1 tbsp Dijon mustard * 2 tbsp runny honey * Salt * Pepper RECIPE 1. Fish: Set a large pot over med-high heat and add the oil. Heat until the oil reaches 375 F (176 C). 2. Season the flour with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Dip both sides of the fish into the flour, egg, then cornmeal. 3. Fry the fish until it is golden brown (about 5 min) and reaches at least 140 F (60 C) internal. Transfer to a wire rack over a baking sheet, add salt. 4. Tartar: Throw the ingredients in a bowl and mash/mix until combined. Store in fridge until use. 5. Slaw: Slice the cabbage then add to a bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix. 6.
