i've been so heartbroken over what's been happening in LA these past few days. as a child of immigrant parents and an immigrant myself, i've experienced firsthand how complex the immigration process is to become a legal resident. many families lack the resources or luck to attain legal status. immigrants come to this country, keep their heads down, and work hard to provide a better life for their families my heart goes out to all the families affected by the raids or living in fear of being detained. at this point it's not just about legal immigration policies but basic human rights.. this might not impact you directly (a huge privilege), but we should all have empathy and stay informed about what's happening stay safe, everyone 🤍 (this video was filmed a few weeks ago)
