I felt powerless every day I stepped foot outside of my apartment. One day I crossed paths with a Northern Shaolin Kung Fu school and fell in awe of the swift movements and the confidence that exuded from that martial institution. I decided it was time to take some power back! I signed up the next day. Years later my martial journey guided me towards a grappler’s path and I fell in love with Jiu Jitsu.
