@terminal8_ is a forward-looking DJ collective, record label, and party series. Since its inception in 2019, T8 has been instrumental in accelerating the underground dance community in Nashville, Tennessee. Made up of six members with varying specialties, T8 delivers an amorphous but highly effective music experience. Last Slingshot, we were able to get a taste of that experience with Terminal 8 member @__viiaan, who is returning ⁠ on Sunday, October 9 alongside @edderrrsss, @jasoncode_, @nicholas_latiff, @__maniia, and @rosslowder_.⁠ ⁠ Fresh off hosting and playing their first ever Boiler Room, here's a bit more about each artist:⁠ ⁠ Viiaan: A CDMX transplant, Viiaan is a seasoned producer, DJ, and founder of her own label, Voragine. With releases on Extasis Records, Infinite Machine, and Causal Chain, her tracks span ambient to techno.⁠ ⁠ Edders: A Nashville native, Edders is a skilled producer and DJ with a taste for high bpms and anthemic vocal tracks.⁠ ⁠ Nicholas Latiff: With roots in Brazil and Columbia and sporting releases on Diserpiero Records, Bunkaball, and Dont Play, Nicholas’s name will usually be found on Beatports Minimal / Deep Tech Top 100. ⁠ ⁠ Jason Code: Originally hailing from Seattle, Jason has become a fixture in the Tennessee dance community over the past ten years, with releases on Future-Everything and UK imprint Scuffed.⁠ ⁠ MANIIA: Born and raised in the Nashville DIY scene, MANIIA is a talented producer and DJ with a unique knowledge of club music.
