Yes, it’s 100% free 📍@edgeonthesquare (800 Grant Avenue) San Francisco, CA Discover this free, interactive art hub in Chinatown - Edge on the Square - an inclusive space showcasing local AAPI artists and celebrating diverse cultures and perspectives on social justice. The current exhibition, “Walking Stories,” in collaboration with Asian Americans for Civil Rights and Equality (AACRE), explores profound truths about identity and human behavior. We’re thrilled to uncover this hidden gem, which promotes AAPI representation in the arts and fosters a sense of community among those who walk these streets. We especially loved the “Nourishing Power” exhibit, created by Related Tactics and Mia Nakano with @asianamericanfutures . Inspired by food and potlucks—a metaphor for shared experiences—it illustrates how our unique contributions and diverse backgrounds enrich the community. Come see how every perspective adds to a more vibrant, fulfilling experience! Plus, if you visit this Saturday, 9/7, you’ll get the chance to also experience their 3rd Annual Contemporary Art Festival (from 3:00 - 10:00 PM) which will take you through all of the art in San Francisco Chinatown! #sanfrancisco #sf #food #eats #sffood #sffoodie #bayarea #bayareaeats #bayareafood #bayareasmallbusiness #chinatown #sfchinatown #affordable #art #artist #aapi #free #freethingstodo #funthingstodo
