Truth About Women, Abuse & Healing—A Call for Understanding, Not Attack
This message isn’t about blaming men—it’s about understanding a brutal truth that has shaped women’s lives for thousands of years. The statistics on abuse are staggering, and the hardest truth to face is that the most dangerous men to women are often the ones closest to them. That reality is painful. It makes people uncomfortable. But discomfort is where growth begins.
Before you get defensive, ask yourself—why does this push your buttons? If you have women in your life (and every man does), take a moment to learn the facts before dismissing them. This isn’t about “he said, she said.” This is about what women have lived through—documented in research, written in their bodies, and carried in their spirits.
For 30 years, I’ve studied women, not because I wanted to focus on abuse, but because it was the silent, painful thread woven into too many of their stories. The hidden trauma that manifests as depression, autoimmune diseases, fibroids, eating disorders, perfectionism, or the inability to fully embody their femininity. The scars run deep—some seen, most unseen.
Men, I know you have struggles too. This is not a battle of suffering; it’s a call to awareness. If you truly want to support the women in your life, hold space for their stories. Listen without judgment. Ask how you can help. Hold other men accountable. And most of all, don’t tell a woman she’s crazy or overreacting just because her truth makes you uncomfortable.
Healing isn’t just a women’s issue—it’s a human issue. Be part of the solution, not the silence.
