Last night, French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna visited @villa.albertine headquarters in New York for a dinner honoring five leading creative thinkers from across the African continent who were selected for a new Villa Albertine exploratory residency, launched in partnership with the @fordfoundation. The residents, who were chosen in collaboration with world-renowned curator N’Goné Fall, will each embed in an American city suited to their project this fall and will explore themes including women’s liberation, land rights, the creativity of astronauts, and more.
