This Black History Month, I’m celebrating Black voices who tell beautiful, layered stories that inspire, encourage, and teach me I love books, you’ll see them all over homes I design. Superfine: Tailoring Black Style is on to add to my love of books, it explores fashion as history, identity, and self expression in a way that feels both powerful and deeply human. Olivia Dean’s music feels intimate, the kind of storytelling that lingers long after the song ends. Saint Heron Library is a space I admire for its thoughtful curation and dedication to preserving and sharing Black culture, art, and ideas. The work of Manyaku Mashilo is bold and emotional, using color and form to tell deeply human stories. And Lobie is creating products formulated by Black women with intention and care, work that feels both necessary and long overdue.  Thank you makers for having heart and soul and contributing something good to the world!
