It’s never been about a new year, it’s about a new day. Every day is an opportunity, waiting a year to turn over a new leaf to me is aversion. I am working on believing in myself and establishing and knowing my worth. Too often I lower my value under the auspice of collaboration and I’m trying to be better. I have placed others happiness and success above my own and have felt guilty when I put myself first. I’m starting to identify the reasons why and I’m going to use every day to get better. I appreciate everyone who has shown me love and respect and will continue to support those that support me. My mantra is now, choose happiness, choose joy, choose myself. Sappy? Nah, I apologize to no one for my journey to regain my authentic self, I will have a lot less “friends and followers” along the way and I’m ok with that. I wish you all a Happy New Day!!
