It was all eyes on @severino40 last night, as the @yankees Ace made his long-awaited, highly anticipated season debut against the Angels, after being on the shelf with a shoulder injury since last October. He threw 4 innings of shutout ball, but despite not factoring in the decision of the Yankees’ 8-0 victory, the Boogeyman was in a groove, shutting down the Angels’ Mike Trout-less lineup before handing the ball to Jonathan Loaisiga. Gleyber Torres broke the game open with a long, 3-run home run in the 6-run 4th inning, giving the Yankees bullpen ample room to work with in route to shutting out the visitors in The House that Jeter Built. Big thanks to @ianperlman for being awesome, I had a blast ~finally~ being able to catch a game with you this year. Better late than never, right?
