This song is one that is so important to me. I found movements around ‘17, during a pretty bad time with my mental health. I felt like I was drowning. This song made me feel so many things. Listening to it made me cry but it gave me hope. The album feel something definitely made me feel something. I’ve cried to it, sang happily, been inspired because of it & most importantly I made one of my best friends through it! @slaywithdesirae & I bonded over music & this album. I always get excited to find new songs to see if she’s listened to them. I love when we all get to video chat & have jam sessions & sing along & laugh together! 💜 Unless I’m at a show I don’t often find people who like the same music that I do so getting to talk with Desirae about music helped me to be less awkward in getting to talk to her, & for that I’m so incredibly thankful.
