A few screenshots from the graveyard scene. We were filming in August, in New Orleans, and the humidity had to be 120%. At 10 pm it was still over 90 degrees, to top it all, I had on three layers of clothing and a wool jacket on top. It was scorching. It was perfect for this scene. . . If you have ever been in a cemetery after dark, it’s creepy. You hear noises that you’re not quite sure what they are, and you feel slightly (if not quite a bit more) on the edge. Again, a perfect set up for the scene we were filming. . . If you haven’t seen Episode 4 of Black Bird yet- go watch it. It gives you some insight into the back stories of Jimmy and Larry.
