Around two-hours north of Tokyo, Nikko is known for its stunning autumn scenery, mountains and waterfalls – and now the newly opened @ritzcarltonnikko. The concept of the hotel is based around ‘celebrating nature through a luxury lens’, and a few weeks ago I spent 3 days chasing the sun, basking in views of Lake Chuzenji and even meeting the hotel's resident monk for some morning meditation.
