To Margate in this week’s @fthtsi. For the art, sure. (You need something to do between meals.) But really for the food. And what a bounty of loveliness. I ate my way across town before collapsing on the train home, feasting on (among other things) a spectacular plate of turbot from @angelas_of_margate; a splendid cup of coffee and cruffin from @staple_stores; a fine cocktail from @daisy_margate (plus selfie with my new bestie Esme, the resident house); and some excellent plates at @sargasso.bar and @bottegacaruso plus a stop at the new @fortroadhotel and its dining room.
