🐾 fosters: 2023 #️⃣1️⃣ the return of miss sooty the chiweenie // now suki after little miss sassy’s first adoption didn’t work out, she came back to us and eventually ended up on all four paws in the pawfect home with a lovely former colleague - happy days 🥰 #️⃣2️⃣ sweet angel sascha the scroofy jack russell 🫶🏽 sashy baby was a casualty of the rental crisis at 7 years of age. A chance pop in to @theflaminggalahfreo after attending @wilbur_the_japoodle bday pawty turned out to be the most amazing twist of fate and sash met her new mama in the beer garden which was SO cute 🏳️‍🌈 #️⃣3️⃣ darling brave cancer survivor boy sam 💪🏽 mister sammy sam sams - oh how I love this boy. his owner had passed away and the rest of the family couldn’t keep him because - again - the shitshow that is perth’s rental crisis. during his first week with us, i discovered a lump on his arm which turned out to be a malignant tumour. luckily it hadn’t spread so mister mans got to keep his arm and live happily ever after with his new fam in the hills #️⃣4️⃣ our little eugene (formerly teddy!) i’ve never met a puppy with such an old soul! eugy boy came to us after his owner was sadly diagnosed with terminal cancer and had to move overseas for treatment and to be with family. this boy is a truly special, unique little soul. all 5 broomies are over the moon that eugene has found his forever home with his beloved mum, our darling dear friend @mimkempson . seeing their bond deepen and keeping this particular foster pup in our lives is the biggest blessing - of of the biggest this year has brought. 📣PSA📣 i know i bang on about it all the time but fostering animals in need is truly life changing and incredibly fulfilling. there hasn’t been a single foster experience that we’ve regretted - we have both learnt so much about love and life from these beautiful babies- and received so much love and joy in return. there’s never been a more important time to foster an animal in need. so; if you’re able to make space for a soul that needs a helping paw in 2024, i couldn’t recommend doing so any more. live, laugh, lick 🫶🏽
