This is Chapter 28🎀 This is the first time in my life I’m not looking at myself, I’m looking at You God. It was never about me. Birthdays can seem like a day solely to celebrate yourself; your accomplishments, your achievements and to soak in all the attention. But I don’t feel that way anymore. In a way, I mourn it. I cry because that part of myself is gone. My life is not something to glorify; it’s only a testament of the Lord- His work, His commitment, His promise. Mourning happens because I am letting it go. I’m allowing myself to be completely transformed. Instead of finding my worth in birthdays, I now turn to You, Lord. My soul is now aligned with You. So today we celebrate, but we celebrate You. What a glorious God You are; we honor the One who gave us this life. The more I grow deeper in my faith, nothing compares to the love and peace I feel when I'm with You. Today and every day, I honor You Lord. I won’t put any worldly desires above You. They will soon fade away- the only thing that doesn’t is Your unfailing love for us. Your promise remains the same forever.
