“each moment is just what it is. it might be the only moment of our life. it might be the only strawberry we’ll ever eat. we could get depressed about it, or we could finally appreciate it and delight in the preciousness of every single moment of our life.” – pema chodron⁣ ⁣ these babies drew me in with their scent as i was sitting near the pot with my book yesterday. there wasn’t much to see at first glance. so, i went searching under the leaves, and wow. i could have sworn i caught a whiff of my strawberry shortcake doll circa 1979. the whole moment made me think of the tiny little starts that i planted months and months ago. noey gave them to me as a gift, and i did not know if they would make it. yet they thrived. i took a moment to feel how much has changed and broken and grown and opened and blossomed in my heart and in my life since then. how there have been moments where i thought i did not know how to grow with what was in front of me, and yet i (humbly and slowly) thrived. seasons. cycles. humility. patience. fruit. i’m telling you get yourself some strawberries (or any other plants for that matter) from @yesyesnursery, and the seasons are all the sweeter. ❤️🍓#growyourown #supportyourlocalfarmer
