The modern problem: how to reapply your sunscreen over makeup, without looking greasy. Here’s what I do. Real ones remember the first time we did this together 🫶🏻 - Pick a sunscreen with the finish you want your makeup to have. If you like a glow, fine, if you don’t want too much shine (same), then use a sunscreen with a more skin-like or matte finish. - The velour sponge absorbs less than another sponge would, that’s why I use it. It mattifies a little, too. - Don’t wet the sponge or your sunscreen will be diluted/compromised - I do a couple layers as the sponge still absorbs some product, and because I’m doing very thin layers but we need to get quite a lot of sunscreen on. - Sunscreen mostly degrades from the oil produced in our skin and from touching your face, so concentrate on the areas this happens to for you. Usually the jawline for touching your face. - Let it dry for a bit before you add more makeup, - Press, don’t swipe. - Even reapplying once in the day will give you a better outcome for your skin. - If you’re outside in the sun, do it every 2hrs. - Powder sunscreen doesn’t work because you can’t apply enough, - Sprays are fine if you apply a lot (much of it ends up in the air), but they tend to have a lot of shine. Happy sunscreening! Any questions?
