The concept for this song is so simple that it almost feels silly... everything - be it a day/a song/a pair of jeans/a relationship/a person/pretty much everything, starts out being new and shiny and then over time, at some invisible & indistinguishable moment isn’t new any more... And then at some later date starts to be viewed as old. Its a basic law of the universe and applies to everything and everyone. I find it both scary & weirdly comforting.. #relationships
