My apartment search is finally over. Finally ready to settle in and make a house a home! If you know me you know how much I’ve always dug for the most unique and biggest spaces I could find to live in. All my adult life I’ve lived in freaky raw spaces that I transformed into my home, usually having to rent them out for photo shoots and events to afford them. KGB studios, the South LA loft and @ConduitDTLA, before finding @studio347_, the most amazing space with the most amazing people. I searched out larger spaces in more remote areas because I felt like I could really live, grow, create and even breathe more expansively in cavernous spaces and areas with less frenetic people energies all around. I know the word empath gets thrown around quite liberally these days, but as someone who’s always felt, and taken on the feelings of those around me, it gets quite draining. The last few years I been walking, solo, up in the hills of East LA. It recharges my daily battery and calms my soul. So now I’m perched above LA, where I can breathe and create in a setting that gives me peace of mind. Thank you to all the folks who helped suggest and even offer living options while I was looking.
