some magic news today: Alpha Zulu (César Rock Dub) is out now 📯➿🎸🔉 @wearephoenix is a band that changed my life when i was 15 in many ways. I remember religiously watching their ‘musicvision’ video series by @guillaumedelaperriere over and over again, blown away by their sense of poetry, knowledge and proud amateur empirical craftsmanship. I felt like I was learning something that would never leave me and it still informs my work producing records at @recordmakers today. I’ve kept my remix work to myself for years and I’m proud one of the first official ones is for this incredible band. big merci to Branco, Chris, Deck & Thomas @lmullerd for being the rockstar that makes people’s dreams come true, Chris for the Musée des Arts Deco personal guide night tour, and @prsseau for lending his skilled ear and overall generous friendship. slide 3 is a Rock Dub in context!! 😵‍💫 Xx
