I started Creative Palette Art Studio because as an African- American female, returning home to Decatur from receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at the University of Georgia, I felt that I wanted a place close to my home to create, be inspired, and showcase my own artistic talent. As I strongly looked for that within the community I saw there was a lack of culture and diversity for artistic people to express themselves creatively.
