Growing up, my parents told my sisters and me, “You will be so close one day,” as we bickered over clothing, fair seating in the car, or the day’s planned activities. Although we did not believe them at the time, they were absolutely right. My two sisters, Sarah and Amy, and I have grown up to be inseparable in adulthood. We are intimately, constantly in touch with one another about our relationships, careers, motherhood journeys, and more. For years, Sarah, Amy, and I have dreamt of traveling together. Our trips, thus far, have always included our families, especially as they’ve grown. This year, Amy and her family planned a trip to Paris, France, and Sarah and I thought, “Perhaps we can plan a sisters’ trip in conjunction with Amy’s family’s trip.” Several texts, calls, and hours of research later, our vision came to fruition. Sarah and I flew from Nashville, Tennessee to Nice, France to spend three days in Côte d'Azur before traveling by train to Paris to meet Amy and her family.
